Is there a delivery fee?

Within central Cape Town, we offer FREE shipping for orders over R550. For orders within central Cape Town under R550, we charge a shipping fee of R29.

For outlying areas, a flat shipping fee of R49 will be automatically added at checkout. Outlying areas include Hout Bay, Muizenberg, Bellville, and Bloubergstrand (this is not an exhaustive list).

For On-Demand 1-2 hour Deliveries, a flat shipping fee of R49 will be added at checkout.

Across our entire site, we have a minimum spend of R199 to ensure that our deliveries are efficient.

When can I expect my order?

We offer Next Day Delivery

We deliver Monday - Saturday, from 9.00am to 6.00pm. You will receive an email on the day your delivery is scheduled for, and a notification when the driver is on their way to you. Please see our estimated delivery schedule below. These times may vary on the day of your delivery.

City Bowl & Atlantic Seaboard - between 9am and 1pm.

Southern Suburbs - between 12pm and 5pm.

Northern Suburbs - between 2pm and 6pm.

Our drivers are trained for contactless delivery, and we are committed to maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards.

All On Demand Deliveries will be delivered by Carter, a third-party delivery company, within 1-2 hours of placing your order. This service is only available for orders placed between 9am and 2pm, Monday - Saturday.

What is your On-Demand Delivery option?

On-Demand Deliveries are delivered within 1-2 hours of ordering.

This delivery option is available for orders placed to central Cape Town areas, between Monday to Saturday, 9am - 2pm.

Please note, we cannot deliver Freshly Baked items with On-Demand, only Next Day Delivery.

Can I repeat an order?

To repeat a previous order, log in to your account, and select the "Re-order" option next to the previous order you'd like to repeat.

How do you support small and local?

We currently have over 100 local suppliers and get all of our fresh produce from small scale, local farms. We believe in the importance of supporting South African farmers, entrepreneurs and small business owners. Boosting the local economy and creating a more harmonious community. Whenever possible, we choose to support small and local and are continually looking for more local suppliers to give our customers a choice to shop local where possible.

*We do offer a limited range of imported products on our website that we believe are of the highest ethical and quality standards.

How did you become more affordable?

To fill some affordability gaps, we have taken the necessary cuts so that you can save. Where there are few or no local products available, we have introduced some carefully selected imported products and products from larger local businesses. We use low cost recyclable brown paper bags and boxes to reduce packaging costs and invest less in paid advertising on social media. With all of these cuts, we can lower prices on our website so that our products are more accessible to you.
